Gray Neville born on february 18 /1975 in Bury,England.He was among the oldest of his younger brother(Phil Neville) and her sister(Tracy).Gary Neville starteed playing football right from the beginning of his footballing career.He was with the young members like Giggs,Beckham and Paul Scholes who later evolved as great players.From young age he was connected to football.His father named ‘Neville Neville’ was also connected to football before Gary got his break in 1990. My Last post was about the last year’s players contribution to the FA premier league title.The most didn’t so the individual stats because it could have made the writing a little too long.So i preferred to post each players details and their biography individually. The first player on this list was probably the most important positions in football. So,yes this post is for the Manchester United keeper “Edwin Van De Sar”. Here it goes…..
Edwin Van De Sar: Born in small town of Voorhout in Netherlands son the 29 October 1970(i was born on 28 pretty much same ),Van De Sar started playing for his home football club,Voorhout.He started playing for is home town as a keeper.He then moved from his home club to another footballing club named W Noordwijk.This was considered a promotion and life changing step.While playing for this club his talents where exposed which lead him way to Ajax,one of the biggest dutch team of all time.Here Van De sar enjoyed his football playing for 9 years for Ajax.He had earned his place in the squad and was present in every completion.He appeared for about 226 appearances for Ajax.Van De Sar was present in the team of UFEA champions League in 1995This was the time were he started playing for his country and played the debut match against Belarus .He then thought that he played a more football for his coutry and thought to move to Italy.At that time Juventus were the leading teams of Italy and no other non-Italian player had ever been the keeper for them.So van De Sar took the opportunity and headed to Italian giants.The transfer fee at that time for van De Sar was 5 million pounds.There got a wrong foot to his career.He had to struggle in first place at the club due to the presence of the Italian keeper Gianluigi Buffon.He had no option but to leave the club.He played 66 games for Juventus before heading to Fulham.He played his matches at Juventus between 1999-2001.( side photo when he was at Juventus ) In the opening season of the transfer window in 2001 Van De Sar was brought to English premier league and was joined in by Fulham.His transfer fee was reportedly 7.7 million pounds which proved to profitable to Juventus.This was one of the reason why he headed to Fulham.Fulham was the right place at that time for Van De Sar to start as new era after a horrible time at Juventus.He proved in Fulham on every basis and become soon comfortable to English ground.He played as many as 115 matches for Fulham in his 4 year deal with Fulham.Now his contract was expiring on 2005 and Van De Sar had not planned anything out.At that time the eagle eyes of Sir Alex Ferguson feel on this man.He knew that his talented would be utilized by his staff and bought Van De Sar in the June 2005 for reportedly £ 2 million.This was the time when new players were flooded in by Sir Alex including the players like Ji Sung Park.The exact fee was kept disclosed by the Manchester united.He made his debut for Manchester united on 9/8/2005. Ferguson knew that he had headed to right man to claim his job as keeper.Manchester was suffering from a few goal keeper problems and no keepers had proved themselves at this time.After starting few games ups and falling down Van De Sar got his grip he required and started to grow.He become strong by every match and in 1 year he become the perfect keeper which Manchester required.In Christmas time of 2006 he extended his contract signing for Manchester united for another 2 years and staying at the club till 2008.Many said that it would be too long for Van De Sar to playing till 37 but to his support Ferguson said that if the player has problem playing and his still capable of showing greater stuff the the player should continue playing.Van De Sar with such a great form i too don’t prefer him retiring from Football.
